Goals: As a new instructor my goal is to learn new things that could help my role as an instructor. I want to be able to help the students to love and appreciate taekwondo as much as I do. I hope to make a difference in their lives just as my instructors have in mine. I also hope to find the perfect balance for being a student and instructor. I want to be looked at as a positive role model as well as a model student and instructor.

Education: As of the start of 2010, I am a home-schooled senior. I will graduate in May and start the next stage of my life in August at Paul Mitchell cosmetology school. I hope to someday open my own salon with the leadership skills that taekwondo has instilled in me.

Hobbies: When I'm not at taekwondo or school, you can usually find me either at the mall, movies, or with my friends. I love to hang with my girls and jam to music!

Acheivements: In taekwondo, I was proud to get my black belt after so many years of absence. I am so blessed to have received “my first job” up at the school and learned all the things that I have. My latest achievement was becoming an instructor at the school. I never saw myself as a leader, but thanks to Mr. Pechacek I was really able to open up and step in to the leadership role. I believe that all of my achievements were possible due to the love and support of my taekwondo family.

Advice: I want everybody to know that when you join a taekwondo school you are also joining a family. Taekwondo sometimes brings pain or obstacles, but don't give up. Make a goal for yourself. Overcome what you think is impossible and achieve something greater than yourself. There will always be someone there to help you, support you, and encourage you. When you decide to enroll in taekwondo you are deciding to challenge yourself and make yourself do what you think you may not be able to.
